WARRANTY

Client is entitled for warranty only in case of souvenir purchase.
Accessories warranty and product warranty may not be claimed simultaneously, resulting from the same fault. In case of successful claim for product warranty, Client may validate the claim against the manufacturer of the exchanged product or repaired spare part.

Warranty
In case of purchase of souvenir of a single value of HUF 10,000, Client is entitled for a warranty.

Accessories warranty
In case of faulty delivery, Client is entitled for an accessories warranty against the company. Immediately upon discovering the fault, but no later than within the next two months from the discovery of the fault, Client must inform the Service Provider about the claim for accessories warranty. 

Within six months of delivery, conditions of successful claim for accessories warranty are as follows:

  • sending notice about the fault,
  • confirmation from the Client that the product had been purchased from the Service Provider.

After six months of delivery, conditions of successful claim for accessories warranty are as follows:

  • Client must prove that the discovered fault had already been present at the time of delivery.

After two years from completion of the contract, any right for compensation claim expires, including accessories warranty.
In case of claim for accessories warranty the Client is entitled for the following:

  • may ask for a remedy of the fault (if it is not impossible or compared to validating any other claim, would be disproportionately more expensive for the Service Provider), or
  • may ask for a replacement for the faulty product (if it is not impossible or compared to validating any other claim, would be disproportionately more expensive for the Service Provider), or
  • may ask for a proportionate reduction of the price, or
  • may seek to have the fault repaired on the cost of the Service Provider, or
  • may withdraw from the contract.

Client may modify the chosen method of accessories warranty claim, but must bear the costs of it, if it is reasonable or is caused by the Service Provider.

Product warranty
In case of faulty delivery, Client is entitled for a claim of product warranty against the manufacturer or distributor of the product.
A product is considered faulty, if:

  • does not meet the quality standards as regulated at the time of its release, or
  • does not perform the characteristics detailed in the product description provided by the manufacturer.

Client is entitled for a product warranty claim within two years of release by the manufacturer. After this period, the right for warranty is lost.

In case of claim for product warranty, the fault of the product must be proven by the Client. 

In case of claim for product warranty, the Client is entitled for the following: 

  • may ask for a repair of the fault, or
  • may ask for an exchange of the faulty product.

Manufacturer (distributor) is exempt from the obligation of product warranty if it can be proven that:

  • the product was manufactured or sold out of the scope of their business activity, or
  • as science and technology existed at the time of sale, the fault was impossible to discover, or   
  • the fault of the product is the result of the law or the application of any other official regulation.

The manufacturer (distributor) should prove a single reason to be relieved.
